Accessing urgent eye or hearing care

If you need urgent help, contact your local store to talk to our team or to set up a time to come in. Some of our stores have had to change their opening hours and the services they provide, so check your store’s details for more information.

In order to ensure the health of our customers and our team members, our stores are operating by appointment only. Please make sure you contact the store before coming in.

Your urgent care appointment

Our stores we will be operating with a skeleton staff and implementing processes to protect your health and the health of our team members. As a result, both the store and your appointment will feel different to what you’re used to.

Parts of your consultation may take place in a different part of the store and your appointment may take longer than usual, so we ask for your patience and understanding as we try to operate in this unusual environment.

The team will also be continuing to practice social distancing and strict infection control procedures in store. If you have any questions or concerns, before or during your appointment, please speak to the team who are on hand to help.

Glasses and contact lens orders

If you’ve recently bought new glasses or contact lenses, your store will contact you to arrange delivery to your home or organise a time for you to come in and pick them up.

We’ve implemented a contactless pick up process to protect the health of our customers and our team members. Our team will discuss this with you when they contact you to arrange your pick up/delivery.

Buying new glasses or contact lenses

You can purchase new glasses or contact lenses online, if you have a current, valid prescription. If you don’t have your prescription, you can contact your local store or email anz.feedback@specsavers.com. To comply with privacy laws, please provide your full name, date of birth and address.

If your glasses prescription is complex or includes multifocal or bifocal lenses, you unfortunately won’t be able to purchase them online. Please contact your store if you urgently need new or replacement glasses with these types of lenses.
