If you are currently feeling unwell, have recently been unwell, had any contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 or are currently awaiting results from a recent COVID-19 test, we ask for your understanding in booking an appointment at a later date when you are cleared of potential COVID-19 transmission.

Greater Sydney, Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong and Shellharbour

The NSW Government has announced a lockdown for Greater Sydney, Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong and Shellharbour until midnight Friday 30th July. During this time, our stores across these areas will continue to remain open for patients who require essential care.

If you have an appointment booked during the lockdown period, you will be contacted by your local store and if your appointment is not for urgent or essential care they will reschedule it for you for when we re-open for routine care after the lockdown.

If you have glasses, contact lenses or hearing aids ready to collect and you urgently need them, please call your local store who will discuss collection options with you. All other orders will be available to collect when we re-open for routine care after the lockdown.

Great news Victoria, all of our stores are re-open again for routine eye and hearing care from Wednesday 28 July following the lockdown.

If you have glasses, contact lenses or hearing aids ready to collect, please call your local store who will happily book you in for your collection. Our adjustment and repair services are also now available.

As masks are still required to be worn in all indoor and outdoor settings, all of our team members will be wearing masks and we ask that you also wear a mask when visiting us. QR codes are also still required, so please make sure you scan in or fill in our workplace register when you arrive in-store.

All of our stores in QLD are open and here for all your eye and hearing care needs.

As masks are required to be worn outside the home across South East Queensland, team members in these stores will be wearing masks and we ask that you also wear a mask when visiting one of our stores in these areas.

Keeping you safe in-store

We’re doing everything we can to keep customers and team members safe in-store with enhanced COVID‑19 protocols in place. Our stores are following all government health and safety advice to do our bit in helping to reduce the risk and stop the spread of COVID‑19.

This includes restricting the number of people who can be in-store at any one time. We have a team member to greet patients at the front door and they are responsible for controlling the number of people in-store to ensure we don’t exceed the allowed capacity. They will also provide patients and customers with hand sanitiser.

In states where face masks are mandatory our teams are wearing face masks, and our optometrists and audiology professionals continue to follow health department guidance in relation to wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).

In states where we are required to capture customer’s details for contact tracing purposes, we are following the relevant government guidelines.

We have a cleaning roster and stores are following enhanced cleaning and hygiene protocols including disinfecting test rooms and equipment after each patient, cleaning the retail area throughout the day, including frames and hearing aids, and we have hygiene screens in place both at our reception desk and our dispensing desks.

When your glasses or contact lenses are ready to collect, we now have an express collection or home delivery option if you are not able to come in store or would like to limit the time you spend in store. Just speak to one of our team members about your options and they’ll be more than happy to assist.

If you have any concerns before visiting one of our stores, or when in-store, please feel free to speak to a member of the team.

Social distancing in-store

To protect our customers and team members, our stores will be practicing social distancing and we will be limiting the number of people that can be in our stores at one time.

You will find a poster at the front of the store detailing how many people can be in the store at one time. One of our team members will be at the front of the store to assist customers.
