Digital Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

At Specsavers, our purpose is to change lives through better sight and hearing. We do this by promising to make expert care affordable and accessible to all.

We’re dedicated to making sure our websites and digital resources are accessible to everyone. We know that achieving full accessibility is an ongoing journey, and we’re actively working to make our website more inclusive.

Ongoing Efforts

We are in the process of conducting a digital transformation that aims to make our website more accessible, with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Levels A & AA as our minimum standard. We are also committed to continuous improvement, including:

  • Conducting accessibility audits to identify and resolve issues.

  • Implementing design and development practices that prioritise accessibility.

  • Providing training to our teams on digital accessibility best practices.

  • Collaborating with third‑party accessibility experts to confirm, verify, and monitor our efforts.

  • Seeking feedback from customers with disabilities to inform our accessibility improvements.
