Pay with HICAPS
You can now pay for your contact lens order online using your health fund, through HICAPS.
What is HICAPS?
You’ve probably seen a HICAPS machine (i.e. a HICAPS terminal) when making your health insurance claims in person at Specsavers.
Using the HICAPS terminal (in much the same way you’d use a debit/credit card machine to make a payment) allows for a faster and more efficient claiming process via your health insurance using your relevant health insurance card.
You'll be pleased to know that you can now claim online with Specsavers using HICAPS, meaning you can use your private health insurance in the same way you would do in a store. Simply follow the guidance below.

- We’ll deduct any allowance from your total and let you know if there's any gap to pay.
- The amount you can claim will depend on your Health Fund cover and any recent claims you've made.
