Help and frequently asked questions

Can contact lenses protect against ultraviolet (UV) light?

Answer:

Contact lenses by themselves are not adequate protection against ultraviolet (UV) light even those with a UV tint added. Most contact lenses are now produced with UV filters, however they do not block all UV and thus you should protect your eyes further with sunglasses.
