Help and frequently asked questions

What can the optometrist see when he looks at the inside of my eye?

Answer:

When the optometrist looks into your eye they are making sure that everything is healthy. The eye is the only part of the body where you can observe the health of the blood vessels, therefore the optometrist can check for any signs of high blood pressure or if you have circulation problems.

The optometrist can also see the effects of other health problems such as glaucoma, diabetes or any unusual reactions to medications.
