Help and frequently asked questions

What is a Snellen chart?

Answer:

This is the letter chart most commonly used for measuring vision and visual acuity. It is made up from a series of rows of letters on a chart which decrease in size with each row. Each row represents the minimum size of letter that a person with normal vision would be expected to be able to see at 6m, 9m and at various intervals up to 60m.
