What signs and symptoms do cataracts cause?

Answer: 

There are a number of symptoms that can be experienced by those with cataract, and signs which can indicate their presence. These are: Objects begin to appear blurry or hazy; Night vision is poor; Sensitivity to light Double vision Contact lenses/Spectacles prescription needs changing often; A visible lightening of the pupil.

NOTE: A full eye examination is the best way to determine whether someone has cataracts and to eliminate more urgent causes of these or any other symptoms. If you experience any changes in vision you should visit your optometrist or medical practitioner.
