Did you know you can now buy your glasses from Specsavers online if you have a valid prescription? Buying online is simple, just follow these easy steps to find the perfect pair for you.
You will need a copy of your prescription to buy glasses online. If you don’t know your prescription or if it has expired, contact your local store. Contact lenses and glasses prescriptions are different. You will also need to measure your pupillary distance.
You can purchase online with most single‑vision prescriptions of up to +/‑6. For multifocal lenses, kids glasses or higher prescriptions, please visit your local store.
How to buy glasses online
Choose your frames
You can choose from various styles and brands or use our buyer's guide to help select your glasses. To reorder glasses you already have, search our website for the 8‑digit number inside the frame's left temple to see if they're still available.
Try them on virtually
You can click the ‘Try on’ button on the bottom left of the glasses image and follow the 3D tool’s prompts to visualise the selected frame on your face.
'Choose lenses' and add your prescription information.
If you're not sure how, read our prescription explanation guide. You can also select ‘non‑prescription’ to buy glasses or sunglasses without a prescription. You cannot claim non‑prescription glasses using your optical extras.
Choose your lens options
Select any lens options and treatments you would like to enhance your glasses. All Specsavers glasses include standard single‑vision lenses plus a scratch‑resistant treatment.
Complete your checkout
Once you’re happy with your order you can proceed to payment. Your glasses will then be made to order, and delivered for free on orders over $79.
Claim with your health fund
If you’re a health fund member, you can claim your purchase via your health fund's claims process once you've completed your order.
Get your glasses
Orders usually take up to 10 working days to be delivered. If for any reason you are not happy with your glasses you can return them to us. no quibble, no fuss.
