Yes, you can use your optical extras to claim on contact lenses instantly in-store and now, exclusive to Specsavers, you can claim immediately with your health fund online, in one simple transaction. Simply enter your membership number at checkout to make an instant claim. We'll deduct any allowance from your total and let you know if there's any gap to pay.

Whilst eye tests aren't covered by your private health insurance, bulk billed eye tests are available for Medicare card holders. Simply present your valid Medicare card and receive a comprehensive eye examination at no out of pocket expense for you.
