Aftercare

Every purchase comes with free aftercare for 12 months which includes maintenance checks and adjustments made whenever you need, free batteries for 12 months, a four-year warranty and a 90-day satisfaction period.

90-day satisfaction period

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase at Specsavers. If you have any concerns within the first 90 days of the date of your purchase we will put it right. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Afterpay

A customer can choose to pay using an Afterpay payment plan. Max spend limits apply and are available on selected purchases only. See in store for details.

Batteries for 12 months

Customers will be provided with enough batteries to reasonably operate their hearing aids for a one year period.

Price per pair incl HSP subsidy

The Australian Government Hearing Services Program provides support and access to hearing services to eligible Australian citizens or permanent residents. For information on the program and to check if you are eligible go to hearingservices.gov.au. Conditions apply to clients under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program.

Warranty

If within four years of collecting your hearing aids and/or accessories you have any defects relating to design, materials, workmanship or component failure, we will repair or replace them for you, free of charge. Damage caused by improper handling, wax, moisture damage or repairs by unauthorised or unqualified third parties is not covered under this warranty.

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled: (i) to cancel your service contract with us; and (ii) to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.

Best Value Guarantee Promise

1. Best Value Guarantee Promise is only available to individuals with a verifiable and valid formal printed quotation addressed to the same individual from an Australian retail store that is not a Specsavers store and has been obtained within the previous 60 days. It does not apply to the following submissions:
   
   1. Quotations obtained from retailers only operating online
   2. Online-only offers
   3. Where the customer has not been seen in person
   4. Provisions of publicly-published prices
   5. Handwritten quotations not printed on formal retailer branded documentation
2. Best Value Guarantee Promise will only apply to formal printed quotes for a pair of identical hearing devices which are available for sale at Specsavers. By “identical”, we mean hearing devices that are identical in terms of brand and model, and with a package including:
   1. One year of aftercare (unlimited appointments and repairs)
   2. One year of batteries (for non-rechargeable options)
   3. A four-year warranty
3. The Best Value Guarantee Promise only applies where the formal printed quote from the other retailer and the purchase from Specsavers both require payment in full by the time of fitting. It does not apply to circumstances involving any subscription model or payment plan.
4. The formal quotation must be an original (no copies) and the price must be available to the general public. The price being available to the general public means that any discounts only available to certain people (for example employees) will not apply. It can be submitted in person at a Specsavers store or via email (to the address specified by your local store).
5. If your claim is successful, Specsavers will discount you double the difference when you purchase a pair of identical hearing devices from Specsavers. For example, where a valid quotation is $50 less than the Specsavers price for the identical pair of hearing devices, the discount will be $100.
6. Specsavers reserves the right to refuse any claims it considers to be not genuine or not submitted in line with these Terms and Conditions.
7. Best Value Guarantee Promise cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
8. Specsavers reserves the right to withdraw this Best Value Guarantee Price Promise without notice.
