At first you will be slightly aware that the lenses are there, but they are not at all uncomfortable. The sensation can be likened to an eyelash pointing in the wrong way. Irritation may occur if you do not clean your lenses properly, if the lens has a tiny nick in it or if you are in a smoky atmosphere for a long time. Most people get used to wearing lenses very quickly - and can even forget they are wearing them!
